This pounamu pendant showcases the beauty of traditional Māori jewellery, intricately carved from pounamu (greenstone). Strung on a traditional black wax cord, the pendant’s height can be easily adjusted using sliding knots. Each piece is hand-carved, ensuring unique variations, and comes supplied loose in a plastic bag.
The taiaha, a traditional Māori weapon, is crafted from wood and is designed for close-quarters combat. It’s known for swift, sharp strikes and stabbing thrusts, requiring precise footwork from the wielder.
The Tiki, symbolising the human form and one’s ancestors, is often passed down from parent to child and serves as a symbol of protection and good fortune.

Orders typically take 1 - 3 days to be prepared for delivery. Once they are packed and ready for collection, a courier driver will collect and scan the shipping label. An automated email confirming the collection will be sent out to the email address entered during checkout.
Standard delivery time within NZ is 1 - 2 business days but this may be impacted by Covid-19 restrictions. Standard delivery time to AUS is 5 - 7 business days via standard shipping or 2 - 5 business days for express. International shipping times vary by location.
